This month I will be launching my first pattern and giving away 14 free PDF versions of it. It has been designed with the beginner in mind however any sewing skill could enjoy piecing the simple blocks that make up the design. As a quilt designer, I enjoy using low volume backgrounds along with bold foregrounds. This quilt delivers both! My relationship with yellow

Here I am age 3. I loved this dress! Since that day, I knew my favorite color was going to be yellow. Not just any yellow but this yellow; creamy butter, candle light, Havarti cheese! I relate to this color! What color do you relate too?

Magenta

Here I am age 4. My father took this photo of me with my first box of Crayola crayons. My favorite crayon was magenta. What I find interesting as I pull colors for a design, I like to pair magenta with yellow! Hmmm
